One of the reasons we love what we do is because we often get to do work that benefits our community.
The philanthropists of the Charlotte Mecklenberg Library Foundation actively support the library through advocacy, fundraising and building relationships with people who share a passion for the library's work. Our goal with this project was to showcase the Foundation's work and encourage fellow library lovers to get involved.
The site displays a wide variety of beautiful imagery, not built with stock photos, but actual experiences of families and individuals that have visited one of Charlotte Mecklenberg Library's 20 branches. We hope that by viewing these true experiences, we can incentivize people to participate in Foundation fundraising, sponsorship, and volunteering. At the very least, this site serves as a reminder of the beauty that comes with learning and growth.
